My name is Jessie Beauvilliers, I am originally from a small town in Quebec, but I have been in Victoria for over 20 years. Being an introvert I spent a lot of time alone with books learning about animals and nature , observing how everything works and noticing all the details in the world around me. I am a self-taught artist .

I always loved creating and learning new methods and techniques.

For the past few years I have been working with ink pens, learning how to draw ocean life, which is one of my biggest passions, as Jacques Cousteau says “The sea, once it casts its spell, holds one in its net of wonder forever.”. 

 

 I've created a portfolio of drawings and I decided to share my passion with everyone by creating a line of greeting cards. This year I have expanded to a bigger selection of merchandise created from my artwork, which has also become not only about the ocean and a little fantasy but also the life in our fauna and flora “The love for all living creatures is the most noble attribute of man.” - Charles Darwin
